When and Where?

Flights are scheduled daily, with sunrise and sunset. Sunrise flights depart around 5:00 o'clock, sunset flights around 17:00 o'clock, from your hotel.

Season is from April till October.

What to Expect?

Hot-air ballooning is an outdoor activity. For a moment, your will become part of the nature and float with the wind!

Each flight goes on just after sunrise or before sunset, offering fantastic colours and light for photography. 

The balloon cruises in the altitude between the tree tops and 3.000 feet. Reach for the pinecones and look out to the distance!

Our service is all-inclusive (from your hotel, back to the hotel) and our pilots professionals!

How to Prepare?

Wear comfortable clothing and solid shoes. You may need a jacket as it gets colder before take off at morning flights, or after landing at the evening flights. See details on our instructions page.

OUR SERVICE

Our Balloon Tours are all inclusive.

We'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to our launch site. Once your pilot gives you a short safety briefing, you are welcome to board the balloon and enjoy the scenery. We'll take awesome in-flight photos and explain everything about ballooning.

Once landed, our van will take you back to your hotel.

Hotel Pickup

Your adventure starts and finishes at your hotel. Our car will pick you up and take you back afterwards.

Onboard Pictures

In-flight picture is a must! All of our balloons are equipped with GoPro cameras for you!

1 Hour Flight

Each flight takes around 1 hour, the activity takes around 3-4 hours incl. transfers.

Flight Area

Château Konopiště & Franz Ferdinand

Our flight area is located about 40 minutes southeast of Prague, near Château Konopiště.

Château Konopiště is famous for being the last residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, whose assasination in Sarajevo triggered World War I. 

Besides the castle, the entire area is in the heart of Central Bohemia offering beatiful views of the river meanders of Sazava, little lakes, meadows and much more... It is the closest gateway for Prague residents, offering a relaxing scenery and the feel of a countryside.

It was in my wishlist since long to go for a hot air balloon ride and I am so happy that I chose Balloon Adventures for this. The ride was perfect. We took evening sunset ride and the weather was perfect. We flew for about an hour, saw some deers and castle from the top. The team is brilliant and it's a safe tour if you are with a family.
